He's an ex-pugilist who has trouble telling a boxing ring from the political arena.

In 1977 he lost the election for President of the Syd Uni SRC - - - to a woman (oh .. the humanity). After the result of the election was announced Tony approached her in the SRC office. She imagined that he was going to congratulate her the way normal people do. No. He punched the wall either side of her head! Two closed fists. A friend of mine was a student at the time and says the story was all over campus. This makes me think that Peta Credlin must have a great left hook.
