Jupiter July 17th in fair seeing, have good depth of detail across the field. I note a well defined quite elongated dark feature in the region of the NTB. I also note an interesting cluster of small concentrated bright spots in the NEB, most prominent in R & RGB data between the F limb and the CM. There is also a line up of 6 small white ovals in the STB and a LRS in the SPR between the CM and P limb.

Trevor

You certainly produce outstanding planetary images, these shots show intricate detail in the various bands, Jupiter is always an interesting view, forever changing, Trevor always detecting such.
Well done.
ps Broken Hill, most awesome outback Town, the kids still talk about our family adventure out there, and the sky is as amazing as the art and people that live in and around.

Thanks Bart, Anthony & Beren.
Anthony, I love living out here, it suits my lifestyle. I tell people we are centrally located. Whenever I am giving an astronomy presentation I always give the distance from Broken Hill. I get a substantial number of cloud free nights and capture thousands of data sets each year. These days 12 data sets go into each RGB I produce and 5 or 6 into each IR image, depending on the target. Glad you enjoyed your visit to the Hill, the locals, like most country folk, are mostly very friendly and easy going.
Cheers
Trevor
