On Stradbroke Island chasing whales when this big bird sat down beside me and regarded me with a jaundiced eye.
Apostle Bird.
Hit him with the 300mm lens (on my old 450d)- then he flew off - Came out well for a snap

Yes indeed, very nice for a snap. I'd be happy. However, it's a Noisy Friarbird. That bump on the hooter is a giveaway.
