i recentley invested in a whole set of hyperion eyepieces for $1000 and am really impressed with them! Great veiwing!

They are good value for the money, that is for sure saturn c, but they are flawed, just as even naglers have flaws, the perfect EP is a holy grail!
These are nice EP's for afocal projection and imaging and the full set deal i imagine gives you different options, for using and re-selling without loss.
I have never had the chance to use the 5mm or 3.5mm, are they as twitchy on the focus point as is the 8mm?
I own three of the longer focal length ones.

i didnt even bother with the 3.5mm sold it off, but the 5mm is pretty good once in a blue moon!

5mm is a good focal length for a 10" dob, giving 250x and usable on nights of good seeing (doesn't need "great" seeing like a 3.5mm EP would).
I use my 5mm TMB planetary before a planetary/lunar imaging session to determine how good the seeing is and whether I should bother doing any imaging.
