I have a length of 12" dia formatube.
A very strong machined base plate which is basically a duplicate of the Meade Giant Field Tripod mounting head and includes tapped holes for the super wedge azimuth adjustment peg, has been treated with Phosphoric acid and then Ferropro prior to painting.(should never rust even outdoors)
Three 3/4" 'J' bolts, well they are 'L' shaped but they wont slip in Concrete.
I was going to cast a permanant concrete pier, but decided to go down a different road so this stuff is up for sale.
The head cost about $700 to have machined.
Asking $300 for the lot.
Would really suit a local pick up (Sydney Metro) rather than freight.
The Tube is too long and the mount head is rather heavy for posting.
I wont sit on these items forever, no buyer, then a visit to the tip, as I need the room being taken up.
