Hi.
With the aquasition of the mighty Argo Navis digital telescope computer and custom designed encoder mounts and gears (Thanks Photoncollector), for my Sampson mount my ability to locate stuff quickly is here.
During its first real test I quickly found a number of objects, taking images of some.
Mouse over them for details. Sky conditions poor, lots of haze, unable to see smc only just able to see the LMC naked eye.
All shot with 10 inch f5.6 scope, hand guided, modded 350D, Idas uv/ir filter and MPCC

Nice shots Scott!!.....
I like the ngc 2217 shot the most but all nicely guided....Hazy up here too last night but could see both the LMC and SMC ok. Those bushfires in Victoria are sure putting out alot of smoke even getting right up the N.S.W coast...
Cheers Gary

Nice shots

My favourite is the ngc2217 one as well, you can see a few more background galaxies in there as well!

Great imaging Scott, you have captured the globulars and the galaxy very nicely. They are well resolved and detailed.

top stuff

I knew it would lead to this, Ok you have 13400 to go from the AN, then the 6 million or so from SAP

What's the 3rd pic,is that a galaxy? looks very interesting and I would love to see a deeper shot of !

Thanks.
Yep its a galaxy, deeper shots show a ring around the core of it. Id like to get a deeper shot in future.
