Here's one of the filler shots from the SPSP. I did 19x5min on it with the same rig. G11/FSQ/QHY8. Same processing in PI. Seeing on Saturday wasn't as good as beginning of the week but still very decent.

Hint of IFN in the full field. I guess to get all that stuff you really need to go very long on the background. Couple of interesting galaxies in the back field as well.

Original 2xdrz file (http://www.astropic.space/astro/NGC5139_drzx2_fff.jpg) [6080x4032 - 21MB]

Enjoy the views.

Marc,

The 1:1 shot is superb. Beautiful fine details and colours. Very nicely processed.

That's really nice Marc!
There is some nice IFN showing up in the wider field but I do prefer the crop :)

Thanks a lot Peter and catch up soon.

Thanks mate. Keep well

Thanks Colin. Yeah there's some brown stuff around. Very faint and noisy still. I like the wide field because of all the background faint fuzzies that I hadn't noticed before. Worth revisiting and going longer subs to bring out all that some other time.

What a wonderful field, Marc, showing Omega in beautiful context. The uncropped version in particular is truly excellent. Bravo!

Dang that's good. Big fan of the widefield shot. Star colours are great, everything is nice and tight and faint fuzzies abound. it's such a beautiful sight in an eyepiece and you have captured it perfectly.

Top job!

Thanks Dave. The core has some depth and about the right luminosity. True it's a corker in an eyepiece.

Thanks Rodney.

Sweet image Marc. How long have you had an FSQ?

I am surprised not to see any FSQ130 images on the web. Its been out for a while now. I wonder if its worth the price tag. The FSQ is such a classic scope.

Greg.

I went looking for images over the weekend, haven't seen one yet! Feels like it was nearly a week ago when there was some unboxing threads on CN but no images with it out under the stars.

Nice shot Marc, love the wider field, really puts it into perspective. I wonder what a shot of Omega and the Hamburger in one field would look like?
