...bought a digital SLR camera while in Singapore and brought it back to Oz? I'm off to Europe just after Xmas and I'm stopping over in Singapore. I have considered buying a Canon 350D for quite some time but I was informed that I should consider getting it when in Singapore. Just wondering what the pros and cons would be. I assume warranty would be an issue unless I get an International one(?) and also taxes once I arriver back in Oz. Any advice would be great :help:
Thanks

Hi
There will be no warranty and you will have to pay duty
If you go over the limit you can bring back you
will have to pay duty on everything
I have been told it is cheaper in Australia

Thanks for the info :)
Youll pay bananas if you take it out of the box and just put it in your bag. Or just carry it. Because for all anyone knows, you brought it with you from Australia.
When i was in China, i brought back 2 DSLR's and 2 binoculars. Of course if any one asks, i had them when i left.
