Here are two lovely shots of my family that I thought I might share with you
They are from a wedding we went to in WA in October.
The shot of Jessica by herself goes straight through to my heart everytime I look at it.
What is her wedding day going to be like????
By the way ASI, spider books are still #1 followed by Kids Astronomy books for the Girls (no pressure from Dad!!!!)
Those with daughters ie Mike, Rocket Boy and Ving will know where I am coming from :)

Great pictures indeed David, maybe this should be a thread for posting family portraits for those who would like to share a pic or two.

Awesome shots Dave, excellent!
And yes, I know what you mean.
Beautiful shots. One for the pool room.
Nice pics Davo
Good thing you're surrounded by good-lookin' girls:lol:
Don't they make us look good. Although you scrub up well, mate:thumbsup:
Nice to see the family:)
Adorable !!!
A beautiful family. No wonder Daddy's proud.
Thanks for sharing with us mate.
They say "The apple falls under the apple tree"........ so true
RB...
If you're gonna quote....
I think you'll find it goes something like this: The apple never falls far from the tree.
;)
If people can whinge about spelling and grammar on this site.. I'll jump in on sayings/euphemisms/ adages etc etc
I was quoting from the Original Classic Greek.
Classic.

Your original classic greek person who uttered this famous quote would be whom?
Coz my sources reveal it may not be as old as that.
Maybe you're more fluent in double dutch?

Your daughter is so very beautiful.
Wonderful family photos.
I agree that there should be a family photo thread.

The only improvement on those photos is meeting the family in person.
I have, and I was very pleased to meet them all.
Hi Pretorius'ses :) Great pics Davo!

Lovely photographs, David. I also adore your "Jessica" quote in your signature.
Taking 'Nettie's comment to the extreme I'm attaching a photograph of my one and only granddaughter which was taken some 15 months ago. She is my daughter's daughter so I think it should qualify.
This was not a staged portrait (if you can call it that) as I was taking some images of broken parts from a radio controlled vehicle so that I could send them to my suppliers in Hong Kong. She just happened to walk in and offer me some parsley as I was getting back to my knees.
So, meet Ali.

lovely image John,
kids and astronomy are great hobbies. I know at the snake valley camp, it was great to have all ages of kids there. They respected the equipment and really made it a great family outing.

Yep, family is everything, nice shots DP. It IS good having a son that has an interest in this game, and especially one that can process files as well. I can see who wins all the "discussions" at your place though, girl power wins.
Gary
Gary, that's so true, so true indeed......... :help:

what is this foreign word "discussions".
It sounds a bit scary. I have heard Houghy mention it in regards to the observatory .... with his wife and also striker's lack of ... when sneaking equipment into the house.
any other guys out there go "numb" when you get home?
