Yes it is true that they have discovered the caused of the Wow signal.

I always thought that because the signal didn't repeat it would be something more mundane. Pity!

So it was a comet fart. :P Everyone got all excited by a bit of celestial flatulence. (Sort of like politics and reality TV when you think about it.)
More seriously, is it true that this is the first time that comet-derived neutral hydrogen has been observed at radio wavelengths? It sounds so obvious that someone should have observed it years ago.
