Really just an exercise in post processing and getting familiar with LRGB imaging as I sit amongst a pile of books on the subject . This was LRGB 20x70s ASI1600 and RC10 AP 0.67x reducer .

Looks pretty good to me. Way too much saturation though.

Cheers

Really nice detail, I don't mind the colour saturation personally :)

Looking good for a short integration, Marke. Actually, when you say LRGB 20x70s was that per filter, or in total? The RC10 and ASI 1600 would be getting you some nice sampling!

Marke

Yes thats per filter so about 1.5hr all up . I would like to get more next time
its at an awkward angle now . I think sampling is around 0.53 so way over sampled but I'm not to fussed :)

A little noisy but a nice image, Mark!

I know its noisy :( i am working on how to minimise it Rick and procccessing it out that and LP gradients . Lots more reading to do yet

I didn't think it would be a surprise :) Pretty good for a short integration.

Hi Mark.

The overall presentation and level of detail, especially in the dust lanes, is great.

We agree with others that the saturation is too high. You might also pick up some more faint detail and background galaxies if the black point was less clipped.

Great work. Looking forward to seeing more.

This may be a little better thanks for the suggestions
