Been trying a few different ways to capture the Eta Carina nebula. The first pic taken with a RC 6" at f9 (1350mm), way too big. The next with a 135mm camera lens, not bad but lacking in resolution so the next step was back to the RC and try to do a mosaic. This is a 4 panel mosaic but I think at least 6 panels are needed here for the RC 6 fl.

Nice ones Rick.

I find Eta fits best in my short F5.5 ED80 for a perfect fit.

Thanks Kevin, I really need to add one of those ED 80s to my collection, I have 102mm and 120mm achro's, but they are only good for visual.

All turned out quite nice Rick, looks like you need something around the 400-700mm focal range :)
