Got a Skywatcher Synscan GOTO kit the other day, and apart from replacing the MCB, I found it also has a broken 9 pin DIN cable (at the socket itself - 2 wires broken off). I am going to TRY to solder it, but I am more concerned about longevity.
Could I use ANY 9 pin mini-DIN cable, or do these have some cross-over etc? Tasco hasn't answered my enquiry about these, nor has Teleskop Service, so I found some on fleabay (high price me thinks!)

Or someone got some spares? I don't want to plug it in only to watch the replacement MCB go fizzle!
