Hi all,

Some bioluminescent fungi from North East Vic last weekend.

I also thought it would be fun to try and capture the day to night transition of one. I hoped this one would have been glowing a bit more than it ended up doing though. Not perfect and I broke my own rule of never doing a timelapse in portrait orientation, but pretty happy with it overall. Video here: https://vimeo.com/218582800

Cheers

Hii Greg, they are spectacular images. Can you tell me if they appear as bright in real life. Mark

Thank you very much :D

They are brighter in these photos than they appear in real life Mark, due to the long exposure and light sensitive camera settings. The green colour is also not apparent to the naked eye, but you can certainly see them glowing in the dark with your own eyes. To my eyes they appear as a whitish glow. It is so much fun walking through a forest in the dark and seeing these things glowing here and there.

Very nice Greg we had a lot of fungi up here in March just after the big dry broke.
