Who will send his name in combination with a message to the Moon ?
The combined length of one's name and message must fit within 60 characters.

Thanks for the merry suggestions,
but don’t you have not something seriously, foreward-looking ?

I consider about:

>>>hey Aliens, if you find this message,
Ispom is gone already,
but his soul floats above your heads<<<

Slightly off topic...
At one point, Coca Cola was going to project their logo on the lunar surface using powerful lasers from earth. Obviously, such a project didn't get up and fell into the same category of radio telescopes on the dark side of the moon so they would not get interference from earth. lol.

Are we anticipating some "thing" will read them. Firstly, the messages in their millions or billions would not be in paper form. If they were, the shuttle or satellite would be so heavy, it probably wouldn't leave earths orbit. So, we've confirmed they are in digital format. Will the life form have the technology and correct format to read the media? On earth we struggle with DVD+R and DVD-R, I hope the life form have that sorted out. Finally do they understand english or perhaps the Japanese will tranlated them all Japanese before sending them on. Either way, will they be understood.:P

Food for thought.

I do think having your name floating around amongst space, dust, dark matter, etc. is pretty cool though.:D

A neat idea, now I'll have to think about what I want to say.

Cheers for the link

Up to the skies
Things like that drive me
Out of my mind

I like to watch things on tv

Way up to mars
Soon it will be filled
With parking cars
