Andrews Barlow lens, 2" achromatic 2x magnification

Hey guys i have a bintel bt-202b dobsonian telescope 8inch. just wondering if anyone has used andrews barlow lens "2 2x mag, currently on a tight budget i can pick this up for $49. I currently have a 30mm Bintel superview 2inch eyepiece i want to use it for. Has anyone tried or heard much about this barlow lens? Pretty intested in purchasing it.

:thumbsup: Hi Jake , I have not owned one but I have looked through some as I know quite a few people that have and really like these , also Andrews have a good return policy if you do happen to get a dud .

I think the Guan Sheng barlow, the 2" 2x ED would be better, can be used with your 2" eyepiece, can us ephotographically -can place a wanted Ad here -they often come up for sale
