While the subject of eyepiece projection photography I took this surprisingly good image of the moon some time ago using a Lumix camera handheld over the my 23mm Tele Vue Panoptic eyepeice attached to a C8.
Unfortunately, the 200kb limitation does not do the image true justice...

That turned out very nice, always good to try something outside the norm.

I was surprised at how well the autofocus and aperture controls managed the job. From experience, some brands of handheld cameras are almost impossible to work with.

You did well with the focus and I really like the angle of distortion. It gives it an interesting perspective.

Well done! What Lumix camera did you use and what were the lens settings? Was it a 24mm Panoptic or 22mm Panoptic? There is no 23mm and the 22mm has been discontinued but does exist.

I did my early astrophotos with an early panasonic lumix model. They have always been the most versatile "do everything well" cameras, I use the fz1000 with a polarie these days for tracking shots and still put it above most interchangable lens cameras.
