Clear view of both the disappearance and re-appearance of Regulus here at Tinderbox south of Hobart. Seeing was particularly good.

Clear view of the disappearance (like turning off a lightbulb) from near Canberra Airport using a Tak FC-60. (NOT FS, FC :) ) - not a cloud to be seen, yet H was clouded out and he's not that far from me.
Missed the reappearance, but was not that inclined to watch that anyway.
Made the attempt from Dunedin. Big patches of clear sky before and after, but not the 2 minutes centred on the disappearance. Classic. FS60, not FC. Maybe that was the problem :P

Saw it with 7x35 binoculars from Belconnen, NW Canberra. Was running errands and observed each time i had to stop. Then pulled over at 811 and watched disappearance.

You missed a visual treat Lewis. Just like the disappearance, there is a bit of suspense waiting for the reappearance. Then the moment Regulus jumped into view you were treated to a bright shining jewel hanging for a few moments right on the limb of the moon. This is quite spectacular for bright stars not unlike the Bailey Beads effect at total eclipses.

Ian Musgrave made a pretty good fist of it:

My very poor attempt with a Samsung Galaxy S5 (they don't do this sort of imaging well unlike the iPhone) just before the occultation.

I forgot to mention, did anyone notice the eighth magnitude star, HD 87884 approx 3 arc minutes from Regulus and directly between Regulus and the Moon. This star was occulted by the Moon approx 10 minutes before Regulus. I tried, but could not, pick it's reappearance on the bright limb despite excellent seeing. I managed to see it when about 2.5 arc minutes from the limb and a few minutes before Regulus reappeared.
