Or part of it anyway. Near the border of Coma Berencies / Leo / Virgo. Not far from the Black eye galaxy. First time I've imaged this nice cluster.
GSO 10" F4 Newtonian, 666 x 30 seconds, full spectrum modified Canon 1100D, HEQ5 Pro unguided.

A wonderful image. Such a diverse range of galaxies.

That's awesome Kevin, so many galaxies to drool over. You have been busy this week, I guess you can sleep when the moon gets brighter.

Wow that's a lot of galaxies in the field of view of a 10", and nicely done:thumbsup:. I'll have to put that area on my to do list. Nice to finally have a few clear nights for a change and no moon around either.

Beautifully done, Kevin. The largest of the super-disrupted ones is spectacular. Great colour and detail.

Very nice indeed, and I'd like to have a go at this region as well.
How dark are your skies?

Thanks Greg! They are a weird bunch alright!
Thanks Bill. No rest for the weary though lol. It's been a bit of a struggle getting these actually as I've been sick for a week. Think I might rest up for a while now though.
Yeah the clear moonless nights have been great. Taking advantage of them I have been.
Thanks M&T!
Thanks Chris. My northern sky is quite good. Only a couple of streetlights before the ocean. The east is "not bad", the south is not good and the west is bad. So these are in fairly dark skies.

Very cool, Kevin! The "eyes" look particularly good. We have been working on a mosaic of this region from SRO for what seems like forever.

Thanks Rick. Your image from the SRO will be a cracker! Can't wait to see that one. Yes the eyes are a fascinating pair of galaxies. Such a unique shape.

Thanks Mike! They're an odd bunch alright. I like galaxy clusters. I'll have to find some more.

Great shot, Kevin, made even more so considering it's unguided on a HEQ5!

Thanks Steve!
Thanks Lee! Got to make do with what I've got for a while. The big, big equipment boost for me over the last 6 months was the observatory. In time, I'll get some better gear to put in it.
