Hey folks,

Does anyone know where I can buy 'Australian Sky & Telescope' in Hervey Bay?

And maybe some nearby dark sky spots :)

Thanks,
Iain

One would think most good news agents usually have them, don't know about Hervey Bay though.

You'd think so Leon but I found probably only a quarter/third of my nearest newsagents back in Newcastle stocked it - and that was after looking for multiple issues close to release date.

Had no luck here yet but I'm still getting to know the area. Surely someone reads it in HB from IIS?

They used to do a subscription, but I haven't checked for a while. It was great having it turn up without checking my local newsagent every month.

Not sure how active that society is or if they're even still running. Tried making contact with them over 2 years ago now without much luck. There didn't seem to be any activity on the website either.

Thanks guys.

Subscription or just ask your newsagent to get it in for you and reserve for you.

Hello fellow astronomy lover in the bay! I just found that the Newsagent in the Urangan Shopping Centre with the Woolies stocks Australian Sky and Telescope... However I did just buy their last copy of the July issue!
