Tonight

Had the Scope out tonight ( been awhile ) .... 14mm Morpheus on Jupiter, I swear there were 5 moons all facing the Planet to one side...Bands stood out as usual

Swapped over to the Baader Binos and the Jewel Box looked brilliant also Centaurs A ... filled the whole view using 2 x TV 25mm Eyepieces ... Nebula stood out very nice.

No Moon out up here ... yet

Star clusters and Glob's looked like diamonds on black, beautiful sight.

I have been outside no scope or even binos.
Very clear.Very dark
Just tried to take it in.
The large cloud looked nice the small one out of site unless I moved 20 feet.
After years of wide fields my imagination seems to fill in more than I think I can actually see.

I had a look outside earlier, everything had a faint orange hue and the closest thing to a star that I could see what a low flying airplane.

Normal Melbourne weather ;)

:D Scouts Honor Tropo ... definitely saw it ... perhaps it was a star further back in the sky giving the illusion it lined up with the 4 moons.

As for Whiskey .... the cupboard has been bare for years....
