Hi team,
My question is...is there a camera in the world capable of displaying deep detail in live view(nebulous cloud ect). I bet this technology can exist and maybe will be available one day in the many years to come.
Or is this just simply impossible to achieve yet.
Many thanks.

How I wished they pointed it at the heavens to see what she could do. The possibilities would be endless, maybe a few more hundred years. But I guess we are talking big dollars to have a live view better than any processed image :screwy:

I've set my Sony A7s onto video mode at ISO 200,000 to frame nebulosity, it's pretty impressive. Not Ultra detailed like a 10hr stacked image, but eerie to watch nonetheless. Check it out.

Perhaps Atik Infinity or a similar product on a fast telescope?

If you're willing to accept near real-time, then look into live stacking. Software like SharpCap and AstroToaster support it. I've been wanting to try it myself recently, but the usual weather problems stopped that.

+1 for the Sony A7s. Or a pile of other cameras slightly noisier, or less live.

Or a hyperstared SCT with these cameras.
