Looking at a remote control focus motor for my SCT as well as my Lunt solar scope. I know there are a few around for SCT's but can anyone recommend me one?
I know the Lunt is harder to do but has anyone attempted this?

Woah that's pricey!
I'm thinking it's only a stepper motor and a few bits and bobs, I think I need to look at making my own one!

I fitted (with a simple belt drive) the Orion/SW electronic focus motor to both my C9.25 (and later to the C11) and the PST mod.
You can get the Shoestring USB focus motor adaptor and control it from the PC.

Oh nice, will look into that!
On a random note (not sure if you remember) but years ago I purchased a DSLR tripod (red snapper) off you and came to pick it up. Had a great chat that day I remember. It's still going strong to this day :)

+1 for the SW electric focuser. Fitted one to my vixen vc200l.
Works really well.

Crap I used to have one fitted to my reflector when I had one. I held onto it for so long cause I didn't have a use for it when I got an SCT then sold it!
