Fantastic montage, thanks Justin. I was looking for a pic to post on our fb page, yay this is a beauty. Two bright comets in the sky at the moment (inc. Lovejoy) and I haven't been able to see either due to rain and cloud here in Brisbane :(.

Wonderful image but going on for 7 or 8 months of cloud here not likely to catch it.

Thanks Justin for sharing a great presentation that really shows ER61's progression.
the 3rd shot is decidedly blue in comparison to the others and to other comets posted in the forum; is it an artifact/processing thing or is it to do with the outburst?
Thanks again for this and your many other excellent posts!

This one has been a real surprise.:)
Thanks Suzy!
Looked loike drought for a while, then two in week.
Thanks Mark!:)
Wow that long without clear skies, that sucks!
Thanks Lindon! Just processing I think. Iv'e done so much comet imaging and speed processing to get the images out I miss a step sometimes. On the up side I'm improving getting the most out of short exposures.
Cheers,
Justin.

More processing has revealed more tail and coma. for some reason orientation seems to make a difference too Just a note the cropped image for April 5 and 7 are both 15 sec exp at ISO 6400.
