When discussing telescope resolution I have long held the view that much of the debate is based on subjective views rather than facts, which can be confusing given the number of parameters that have to be considered, as the article below will show.

In my research for my Bachelor of Arts (one on my majors being Photography) I came across this article that I think goes a long way to explaining why there is such varying views on resolution, so I though I would share.

Personally, I love my William Optics FLT110 and my SV70T as they are the best I have seen, with the emphasis on the "I". I now have a better understand why I like my scopes so much and don't care what anyone else thinks.

I hope you find the article enlightening as it is the best description that explains why there are often resolution rumbles.

The only pertinent bits is section 1,2,3. It resolves the issue we have argued many times.
