scope buggy anyone?

hi all,

I'm looking at putting my gear on wheels, does anyone have a scope buggy ( http://www.scopebuggy.com/ ) and if so do they like it? It looks pretty decent.

similar idea yeah but the scope buggy looks a bit better suited to rolling over different surfaces though

i like tha looks of the scope buggy better too. of course its impractical for me as it wont handle steps too well. :)

I have a similar system to mikes, but i have extended the wheelbase a few inches for more stability (still goes through doors) And also tech screwed in two little fork extensions onto the bottom plate that stick out 6-7 inches for more fork lifting power on the tilt. They also serve to stabalise the trolley when i sit on it, as i made an adjustable viewing chair out of the trolley as well, the upright arms of the seat attach to the trolley frame uprights.
Sounds complicated maybe but its dead simple, must get some images of the thing it works a treat and only cost about $35 all up using bits&pieces from the shed.

Mick is the man. I have the dob version and it works very very well over all surfaces.

actually the mars rovers are towing one each behind them they are that good.......of course nasa sent a dob to mars, not those flimsy sct's etc :)

Mick's design is very similiar to the scopebuggy.

I have a buggy and like it. The large, pneumatic tires are necessary when rolling a heavy setup over bumps, etc. It's well balanced, easy to move and stabilize.

I like Mick's loooong anchors! I may have to hijack that idea! :thumbsup:

I MADE ONE TOCARRY MY EQ6 & 6" FOLDED REFRACTOR USING 1.5" RHS &
NYLON CASTORS. WORKS NICELY.
