Expression of Interest - No more interest needed

Hi All,

Actually I have decided to keep most of the gear a little longer and see again maybe next year. I am just not quite ready to part with it yet.

I am thinking of selling off a scope I am not making much real use of at the moment, and was wondering if there was any interest for it. The details are:

Orion ED80 - Scope
Vixen GP - Mount
2" William Optic Diagonal
Celestron Red Dot finder
Dual Motor / Hand Control
Orion 1/2 pillar - Taken....
Vixen AL90 Tripod
Hard Wood Large Tripod (Very Large)
Tube Rings and Dovetail

There may be a few other odds and ends with it but thats the main bits. The scope is in excellent condition, one small scratch mark in the paintwork when putting it in the tube rings (on the first day would you believe) but otherwise perfect.

I am looking to sell as I have two good scopes, this and an old C8 and one must go. I figure this is the more commercial scope......

What sort of price are you looking at? Can you post some pictures please?

Hi Mike,

I have taken some rough images, including one of the offending scratch (its just above the front tube ring, caused by the tube ring locking bolt). I will have a think about the price, I forgot to add there is a case as well.

Hi All,

I have added rough prices of what I paid or would pay if rebuying it new (some prices have droped over time, and some of the kit I made etc). All up its about $1875 worth of gear, which was calculated as follows:

Orion ED80 - $550
Vixen GP (with AL90 Tripod) - $450
Williams Optics 2" Diagonal - $200
Hand Controller - $279
1/2 Pillar - $150
Tripod Wooden - $50 (self made)
Tube Rings & Dovetail - $100
Red Dot Finder - $50
Case $50 (self made)

All up about $1875. I would probably hope for around $1200, I would also consider splitting it up a bit (or mix and match as I have other gear too) but would like to see the scope / mount go first.

So $1200 ONO.

Please note this is not a GOTO setup, the Vixen GP can be made into a GOTO with the Skysensor PC but I dont have it.

For those that just go to the last post. I have decided to keep this setup just a little longer, and so am pulling the add.

The 1/2 pillar has been taken however....
