The image of the Current Moon (left column) is a Northern Hemisphere image (about 35 deg N)... tsk! tsk! Or perhaps it's just a refractor view?

Related, has anyone noticed how often "rising moon" or "rising sun" images in films and documentaries (eg the Discovery Channel and Animal Planet) are wrong for the hemisphere they're supposed to be in? (eg rising up and to the right, when the location is supposed to be the Southern Hemisphere). Film makers are seldom astronomically aware. It's amazing what they make the Moon do.

But beware. Once you've started looking at astronomical images on film or TV, it becomes an obsession!

There was another topic about the rotation of the moon pic if I remember. I think its actually been flipped a few times before hand? It was just left that way because there will never be one accepted way for it to be displayed so its just as it is. (At least, I think thats what happened?)
