Still a work in progress. 2.5 hrs of Ha with QSI683 with a Zeiss 135mm APO.
I must admit the QSI683 is a pain to attach a canon mount lens as you require the slimmer camera front to reduce the depth.
I have this portable setup running on my iOptron zeq25.

Nice result. Are you planning getting other filter data as well for a colour image?

Chris, yes, I will collect some RGB and some further Ha. Ha while the moon is around.

In the thumbnail, that looks super-ultra-good. A fantastic overview.
Would love to see a bigger image.

Really nice Dave :) I am capturing something similar at the moment but yours is bigger than where I am at at the moment :P
Looking forward to seeing a full HaRGB :)

Yeah cool, I like that Dave. Something special about seeing a Ha image of the LMC, so many interesting festoons and knots everywhere! Connecting a CCD to a camera lens is well worth doing.

Have added about 2hrs of RGB to the original Ha. The Ha was used as the Luminance.
Processed in Pixinsight. Still a work in progress.
Have include a crop of the central area around the Tarantula.
