This is a little project I constructed 5 years ago. I built it in the metal shop where I used to work from scrap I picked up from the floor, It took about 4 days worth of lunch breaks to do. It is mounted on a 4 inch concrete filled pipe. It has served very well for mounting my friends SCT's and MAK's. It is really hard to level but once its there it stays there and it can take the weight of a 16 inch SCT quite well.
This is about the only thing I miss working in metal shops.

Very often I want my own metal workshop... instead I have to pester my friend (who is still my friend, despite my frequent pestering:-)
The wedge looks good :-)

Nice wedge Mark, looks a bit like mine, i made for the 12"SCT, saved a pile of money as they were going to charge me 995.00 dollars for one.

Great Work

Cheers Leon
