moon rise

one hour ago I had an impressive observation - experience:

a thick bank of cloud removed to the east,
its edge was structured like a skyline relief (mountains, valleys),
over the black mass gleamed the sky matt illuminated from the moon light,
the moon behind the clouds approached ever more near to this "horizon"
and then rised the full moon over the black cloud bank,
glittering brightly, like the sun on a clear morning over the horizon...

no, sorry.
even if I had had a camera with me,
this moved scene I could not record
because weak light, moved clouds…
a professional would have able that ,
I unfortunately not

At least you will always have that memory with you to think back on.

sometimes i think rushing off and getting a camera can ruin the whole experience of such events.

if is time enough to get a camera,
then I do that mostly
as here a view out the window:
the bushes outdoor are illuminated by the room light ,
behind it is lasting deep darkness,
in the distance shimmer the bright moon,
illuminated bythe glistering sun.

I keep wanting to take a picture of a nice full moon rise in the belt of venus, but have never been able to. Maybe the coming full moon i'll make more of an effort.
