Canberra IIS members gathering

Hi All,

Every few months, we organize a cafe meet of IIS members in the Canberra region for a bit of a chat over a cup of coffee.
The next social gathering of ACT region IIS members will be
Date : Saturday 8th April
Time : 11am

Table at Pushy's Cafe for 8 booked in my name for 11am tomorrow. I'll stand a couple of tubes on the table with letters IIS printed on them.

I was over at Bunnings watching you all through my Nikon binoculars. I saw Phil dropping his coffee, and Matt hitting his head on the ceiling beams. :)

Actually, took the family to Tidbinbilla, then to the National Gallery on the way home. Wonderful day!

The coffee is fine, the Cafe is run by the Southern Cross Club. Light meals are also tasty. Table can't be booked so its best to not be there right on midday as that gets very busy.

We can always set up for some solar viewing if we have to wait for a table...
and the displays are excellent.
