So I got one of these new saddle plate for my G11. (http://store.losmandy.com/g-11-spdv) When I tried removing the 2 screws on the old plate I realised I couldn't budge them at all. They are tight as and my Hex Key will snap before I move these things.
Has anyone experienced this? Is there a better tool to get these 2 screws removed?
Help :)
Regards
YB

hi YB the only thing I can suggest is putting the short end of the Allen Key in the hex bolt and giving it a little taps with a small hammer to crack the bolts had the sam issue with mine but you shouldn't be able to break the bolts they are pretty high strength good luck with it

Done! That was hard and I nearly broke my wrist doing it! So the trick was some WD40 and lots of strength! :)

Well I ended up installing the RA Extension KIT on the G11 and the new Losmandy Altitude adjustment bolts.
On a side note the Saddle Plate wasn't needed as my current plate already has vixen support so now I'm stuck with a new G11 SPDV. (Looks like I'll have to put that up for sale)
I really need to check my gear before I blindly order this has happened too many times.
PS: Losmandy's RA Extension Kit one page instructions remind me of IKEA :)
