This eyepiece in excellent condition.

No longer have any use for it now I don't have the shorter focal length (1000mm) Newtonian.

Too much magnification in the 9.25 SCT.

In the words of the guru... ausastronomer (John B) comparing this eyepiece with a 5mm Nagler:

The Vixen LVW are an excellent eyepiece. Optically I would rate it 2% to 5% behind the Nagler T6, the upside is it has longer eye relief and is 1/2 the price.

These sell new for around $350 or more. I've only had this for little more than 6 months.

Am asking $270 ono. Save at least $80!

For dob/newt owners with focal lengths between 800mm and 1500mm this eyepiece delivers very nice planetary views on nights of average to good seeing.
