Well with the new eq6 I thought all my problems would be over. Well as they say its the little things..like the dove tail on the old scope needed relacement with the new one in the box..lost the washers so it will have to be fixed next pull down.. but its one thing afte another..the mount for the guide scope (80x400mm) wow and with a power drill with dying batteries horrible.. but the good thing is its getting closer and I has now been errected and dismanteled at four separate locations so I am getting go at transporting it..its not so bad I use a trolley for the head but 6 boxes has all my astro gear (that I take with me that is) But I forgot all those little things ..not sky here unfortunately so it has not been fired in action yet.

Problems is not probably the correct term when I think about it it is really an observation that there is a lot to do to get everything working at their best. The guide scope braket got to me as it was already a work of art on the basis of a different set up ..now I have to cut it and polish etc..but the good news is it is easy to move the guide scope around and I now have 2 wheels to tighten all before I only used wings nuts..
Guide dogs get a picture but the lpi wont work outof autostar I need a night that I can try to track something now ... I am taking it back to Syndey and just will work on it as I have time. I still have to fit the cooler box.
Bumping in to you was excellent I am trying to get the crew in that shop over to the dark side... Robert comes from out this way and is good on computers..he has been with me since day one with the lpi and broke the news that it would never work on the computer I owned at the time.
I recon for their shop...a display with a scope and camera gear, some astro photos on a board would be good to help sell some computers and scopes if they had them...mmmm...must talk to Lee Andrews about a Casino franchise
