Hi,

I know that open clusters don't get a lot of attention as nebulae do, but I like them. Here is an image of M41, an open cluster in the Canis Major constellation. It is an RGB image, without the luminance, because this version without luminance is better than the one with luminance. I hope you like it. Thanks for looking.

Nice colour contrast between the majority of the blue cluster stars and the handful of (I'm guessing here) red giants. You've not gone unnecessarily too deep, but concentrated on the cluster rather than the milky way behind it, thus preserving colour, contrast, and structure. Nice work.
