Actually had a couple of good nights in Sydney prior to the rain setting in
...as it does around the new moon....so decided to revisit this fascinating patch of sky.

The data could be better/tighter...as there was a small tilt in the camera/CFW that I missed during capture

The link is here (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery390.html)

Weather permitting..colour to follow.

That's really nice Peter, a slightly wider FOV than I was expecting before opening; better than what I had in my head :)
The background in the RHS is a tad over sharpened (needs more masking) but the image is very sharp

Far deeper than we've seen before, bringing out a new creature occupying the bottom left of the image: the head of a cave-man in profile, looking up and to the right, mouth wide open. (Can't see any fish).

Superb image, especially in the presentation of the faintest details.

Nice longer focal length detailed view compared to the others recently, nicely composed.

Ta guys...yes..probably a bit too heavy handed on the local contrast enhancement...which I'll sort out in due course. :rain::rain:

I've full intentions of cranking up the AO-X for this region...lots of filigree stuff in the brighter h-alpha regions that would benefit from a higher resolution tweak.

Wow Peter that detail is awesome.....yeah a bit of tiding around stars and some spots but wow.....I can see the grin on your face from Padstow.

Should be a ripper when you done:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Hi Peter,
a bit over sharpened but apart from that it's amazing data.
