Sadly putting this up for sale due to forthcoming medical expenses. It's been a joy to use over the last few months and has gotten me into lunar observing for the first time in my life.
If you're not familiar with Tak the FS and FC series they're THE classic fluorite doublets from Japan. This one is 78mm aperture and 630mm focal length (f/8.1). The lens uses true Fluorite in the front element for excellent colour correction and contrast.
The OTA comes with 5 x 25 finder, Parallax rings and Tak Vari-Extender (like a variable Barlow). Just add a dovetail and you're set.
The scope is in excellent condition except for a few paint chips in the tube & dew shield.
I bought this in November. Here's a link to the previous ad:

These scopes are surprisingly lightweight and can be used on almost any mount. I've been using it on a DSV-1, a basic alt-az with no slow motion controls.
Price is $1,100 plus shipping.
Enquiries by PM, please.
