Well I have finished my solar filter for my 8" Newt here are some pic's.

1. Filter in use.
2. Lots of gaffa tape.
3. Protective cover for the filter.

Works great, all I need now is a solar finder :doh:. Time to dig out the metal working tools to build one that fits the telrad base.
