I am looking for Expressions of Interest in this scope. I am only considering selling it due to financial pressures, but may change my mind. I have had it for a year and used it for narrowband imaging, which it does very well. Achro scopes have no CA issues in narrowband, but may require focusing for each filter. Note that this scope has a rear mounted Petzval corrector. This is a fairly rare scope as it is only available from Teleskop-Express via direct import. Details as per the Teleskop-Express website (from whom I purchased) are:
The short focal length of the MESSIER AR-152S combines outstanding tranportability and high light gathering power. Due to a superachromatic-like correction, the chromatic aberration is reduced. The stars are tiny round disks even at the edge, the are not distorted. A field flattener is also not needed.
The modified Petzval system can also be used visually, even with 2" widefield eyepieces you get pinpoint stars to the edge.
Of course, a short tube is easier to transport than a long one, but additionally, the lever arms are shorter when the instrument is mounted, so the tendency to oscillate is decreased.
This an optical tube, without mount and tripod.

I am asking $600 for this very nice scope in very good condition (see photos attached). Inclusions: a 26mm Bresser EP, a 10mm Agena 70 degree EP, finderscope, two extension tube sections, photo adaptor, 1.25" diagonal.
