Mirror Recoats

Hi all,

I have noticed some discussion on mirror recoats. I would like to know who may need a recoat as I am about to construct the necessary equipment. I have just finished a rebuild of a 12"dob. One of the problems I faced was mirror coating. After searching every nook and cranny on OZ I decided to do my own.

I have a long history with machinery and scientific processes.

I would imagine that it would be cheaper to buy a decent new mirror than
than set up to do your own.
