Hi all,
It's taken me around 18 months to get my 10'Newt to behave on my Neq6 for astrophotography. With some modifications and re engineering of the focuser and DSLR adaptor I have finally managed to produce some images I'm happy with. I have been a keen follower of this forum and have learnt some handy tips and am grateful for the knowledge passed on.
These pics were taken recently all unguided using a Canon 60D full spectrum mod for 20subs at 15 to 40sec in rural metro NE. Tracking at this stage has been a struggle wrestling the 1250 focal range Newtonian but its doing OK when conditions are favourable. The setup is heavy to say the least given I used it for visual prior to getting involved in AP.
I have plenty to improve on no doubt, particularly post processing but its been fun getting to this point. I wanted to share these as a mark of my progress, and happy to receive comments good/otherwise.
