Hello all

I've managed to get some OIII data over the past few nights to add to the Ha that I had on this object for a bi-colour image with a synthetic green channel.

Quite happy with the result. Just need some SII data to add to the mix now.

Cheers Maurice

PS sorry for the compression artifacts

- Added some SII data & have attached a Hubble palette version - sort of..

the latest image is (SIIHa)HaOIII. I blended about 40% Ha with 60% SII to get a decent signal for the 'R' channel as it was very weak even with 3hrs of data. The stars were then desaturated to minimize the characteristic red halos..

That's very nice. I quite like narrow band Bi-colour. Lots of detail.

I'm presently imaging the same thing with a toy camera. :)

A very nice close up photo Maurice.

I also like the look of bi-colour.

Good luck with it.

Ross.

Nice sharp detail Maurice. Smooth back ground too.

Thanks Kevin. I usually prefer a bi-colour image but I'm not sure if I like this one better than the Hubble pallet version. How's your image going?

Thanks Ross.

Thank you Mike & Trish.

Cheers Paul. Certainly needs some exposure to get a smooth background.

Nice one Maurice.. that's great image scale for a small-ish object.

Reckon you can push the background a fraction darker though.. a touch more contrast to make it pop wouldn't be over doing it.
