These were taken on Mercury transit morning, at Nobby's beach up at Newcastle.
Saturation and constrast adjusted in RSP, resized + sharpened in Photoshop.
Canon 350D+17-70 sigma.

LOL I have never looked so good as in the second shot!!:rofl: :whistle: Nice rainbow, I know the building angles don't help that much , but with the rainbow it accentuates the field curvature and gives the illusion the buildings are curved. Nice colour!:thumbsup:

The colours of the sky were so amazing that day, they produced some interesting effects, although it was the one day of the year we would have preferred azure blue. :(

there nice examples of what 'stormlight' (the raindrops and wet ground in the immediate area act a light diffuser, i think) will do for a photo, used to be my fave time to photograph once :) nice work Mike, I like these
