Hi Striker & Meade LXR/ST11K Users,
Roland Christen has a post on Astromart as follows:
“Hi All,
I took this image a couple of nights ago here at my observatory under somewhat hazy skies and lots of light pollution. Scope was a Meade 10" LXR operating at F8.5 with AP telecompressor, SBIG ST11K camera. 20 exposures of 5 minutes each. The tube assembly was mounted on my Mach 1 mount.
Rolando”
And, in response to questions on this post:
“I made a 2.7" adapter to the back of the Meade which allowed me to use my 2.7" telecompressor. Anything smaller will not cover the STL format. This adapter will eventually be made available for Meade users by Astro-Physics.
Rolando”
Cheers
Dennis
