Hi all.

I also saw the same heading NNW from Bordertown SA. Just wondering where may be the best place to see/hear/find out what it was.
Any help, greatly appreciated.
cheers

i'll ask at meteorobs if any re-entries were due, was it coming from the west heading nnw?

try and image a comet THAT fast ;)
after all the regular sightings in the news of plane contrails being described as anything from comets to (VERY slow moving) meteors over the years, nothing surprises me now

thats a bit strange, about 6pm (still daylight) i was at my neighbours place and i hear both of them say wow look at that, by the time i looked there was nothing, they said it was a greenish coloured meteor that was very bright.
(to be very bright in daylight?!?!!!) im so sad i missed it, they were laughing as they know im always out with the scope looking to the stars :)
(they were looking NNE btw)
no loud noises or anything that we noticed.

and to monoxide! :) that is indeed cruel LOL
the guru('s) at meteorobs said no space debris re-entries were due - so good ol' natural event looks like :)
