Hi Louie,

Long time between shots!

A great looking photo.
Very sharp and I love the colours and composition.

The new observatory is working well.
Looking forward to more.

Ross.

Looking great Louie,
That encourages me to get back to imaging.
How about a full resolution pic?

Starting to see more RC shots around the traps. Great detail Louie. The Fickle Finger is well shown. Very smooth back ground. Nicely done.

Thanks Paul!yeah well at the price of these GSO's,It gives everyone a chance at having a look at an RC.

Being in heavy light pollution I'm very restricted to the large bright object but still, that's better than no imaging.....been 3 years since I got to a dark site.

Although, I have started a couple of fainter projects which will be a bit more problematic, and I will never be able to go really deep, but should turn out ok... I think.

Hi Louie,
I didn't realise - still it's a wonderfully detailed picture.
Why did you bin 2x2 on such a bright target?

cheers

Allan, whats the point of imaging at 1x1 when my seeing is averaging 2.5 to 4" through the night, and my imaging scale would be at .76 acsec/pix.....that would be a total waist of time.

At least at 2x2 I get a more reasonable acsec/pix scale and a much better s/n.

Anyway,I've got two more projects to finish with the SXVR H16 and then my ML8300 will go back on with more pixels....It's cooling is far better as well.
