hi all
i was wondering if anyone here can help me in getting a simple listings of the NGC
i am using google at the moment but no really getting what i want ? :)
possible web site links ?
i got a messier list ect ect but am having a hard time getting one for the NGC
all ive got is a dot matrix printer so i cant print anything to fancy :)
i use them for ticking them of the list (after ive confirmed them)
after ive seen them

Rich, that's a great site.. I was looking for some catalog downloads and that site has just what I was after.

Guys, this thread has saved me a wad of cash. I had almost given up on finding this stuff in a readily downloadable form and was going to order some stuff from OS. I have also been wanting a complete NGC catalogue.

I couldn't get onto the nexstar site, but iceman's suggestion is a good one! I downloaded the database and converted it to an excel file, all optimised for viewing onscreen and printing. I must be bored!

NB there are no copyright restrictions on this file, according to the website, as long as it's not used for commercial purposes.
