The image doesn't necessarily have to have been taken this month but we do encourage you to go out and enjoy the challenge.

The winner of the public vote, which will be run at the end of the month, will get to choose next month's topic and have their photo added to our "Photo Challenge Hall of Fame" thread.

For me Summer means spectacular single-cell thunderstorms.
Sadly, the last few summers here in Perth have been a thunderstorm drought, zero zip zilch. So this is an old one.

After 20 days of 30°+ (ok... 4 of them were only 29°) and sub-tropical humidity, summer in the River City means a visit to Southbank Beach at sunset.
