Hi all , to further my clean out , I have just discovered that I have 2 of these ?? , Don't remember buying the second one .
Joys of working 84 hour weeks for months on end ,, scary :eyepop:.
Anyway , it's the 1 1/4 inch version , this one is brand new I opened the seal'd plastic bag for the first time and I have not used it except to test just this morning and in my 90mm refractor and its perfect , giving awsome views as they do .
This one has the built in Baader ND3 filter and I will throw in a spare polarising filter I have sitting around , you must screw this into the eyepiece you are using as by rotating the eyepiece this changes the brightness of the sun's image for the best view , without one the image is a bit bright , these don't come with the polarising filter , its an extra .
Andrews has these for $399 at the moment and I will let this go for $275 plus post , a good saving .
As anyone will tell you these wedges give the best views of the sun of all filters , lots of detail seen , its very addictive :) trust me .
